Mamoun is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who studied in the Higher Insitute of Dramatic Art in Damascus/Syria. After he finished his studies, he was dancing and teaching contemporary dance in Lebanon and Dubai. The artist choreographed a few projects as a freelancer and took part of workshops and performances around the Middle East. His career has been a constant learning path and he is evolving his artistic practice. In 2021 he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, Austria. During his academic years, he has had the opportunity to work with notable artists such as Bruno Genty, Iris Heitzinger, Annete Lopez Leal, Jianan Qu, Johannes Randolf, Victor Rottier and Maciej Kuźmiński… Mamoun has been one of the members of Sima Dance Company for 11 years (Syria/ Lebanon/ Dubai). He has produced dance projects, short films, and collaboration with Kunstuni Linz as part of Bruckner Uni as well as in the open art scene of Austria.
